Freedom of speech

If you haven't read about this already on one of the blogs you actively follow, then take it from here now. the blogosphere has decided to come out together and stand for some issues which have been generating alot of controversy of late. IIPM has been in the news of late in the blogosphere because of an earlier post by Rashmi Bansal whose findings were used by Gaurav Sabnis to come up with a great article about misrepresentation by IIPM in the media. this led to a huge furore with some blogs set up overnight by IIPM students concoting salacious rumours that Aaj Tak had paid for  asting operation and Jam's article on IIPM was funded by Amity. Things turned on their head when Gaurav Sabnis after being slapped with a mailer threatening to sue from IIPM's head of legal services and they got disgustingly bad when perverts started attacking Rashmi and casting aspersions on her character. But the crude twist was yet in store. Gaurav Sabnis decided to resign from IBM. Read about that here. He's taken a moral stand after IBM was threatened. kudos off to him for taking such a stand. I have nothing but unmitigated admiration for the man. But, this is a call for all of us to unite and do what we can.
